Services
Luminox Healthcare Services LLC provides psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric follow-up, medication management, telepsychiatry, patient education, and clinically appropriate supportive interventions. The availability and clinical appropriateness of specific services may vary.
Appointments, Cancellations, and No-Shows
By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following:
- You will provide accurate and complete information when booking
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time
- Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments/no-shows may be subject to a $75 late-cancellation/no-show fee, except when prohibited by applicable law, payer requirements, or contractual obligations, or when the practice determines that an exception is appropriate based on the circumstances
- The $75 fee is generally the patient’s responsibility and is not billed to insurance as a covered clinical service
- Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may interfere with safe and effective continuity of care and may result in discussion of whether Luminox Healthcare Services LLC can continue to provide treatment, handled in accordance with applicable clinical, ethical, contractual, and legal requirements, including appropriate continuity-of-care considerations
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments as necessary
Insurance and Payment
We accept various insurance plans as listed on our website. Insurance coverage and benefits are subject to verification. Patients are responsible for understanding their insurance coverage, including copays, deductibles, and any out-of-pocket costs. Self-pay options are available for uninsured patients. Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Telehealth Services
Telepsychiatry is available to eligible patients who are physically located in Maryland, Washington, D.C., or Virginia at the time of the appointment. Your current physical location and callback number will be confirmed at each encounter. Virtual care has limitations, and you are responsible for a private environment and suitable connection.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luminox Healthcare Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Luminox Healthcare Services LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the jurisdiction relevant to the services provided, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
